Q: QuestionWe bought this cooker from you and it has NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE THE PRESSURE COOKING FUNCTION! the "manual" that came with it is useless. it gives NO instructions on how to pressure cook the food!
Asked by morganranch.
- A:Answer You are right; the manual offers very little useful information and there is nothing on the web. As far as I can tell it does not have a pressure cooking function; even though on the side of the box it says that you can adjust pressure. I only saw where you could adjust the time and temperature on the control panel, and there is no pressure release valve leading me to believe that the pressure cooking function does not exist. I am returning mine because of that reason. Rereading the specifications it does not say pressure cooker, but it does come up when you search pressure cooker; quite the conundrum.

Q: QuestionWhat is the material of the inside of the inner pot ie the parts that touch the food? What are the 14 functions?
Asked by chef.
- A:Answer The 14 functions include: Multi cooker lid offers 6 presets: Rice, Steam, Stew, Yogurt, Stew, Sear/Saute, Slow Cook. Air fryer lid offers 6 presets as well: Broil, Fries, Bake, Beef, Roast, Dehydrate. Additional presets included are the Keep Warm and Delay Start functions. The cooking pot is aluminum with a non-stick coating.

Q: QuestionDoes the slow cooker function have the option to choose high or low heat? I can't find a user's manual or any instructions online for this model # 1863. I would like to be able to slow cook on high or low.
Asked by Leesburg.
- A:Answer It doesn't have a high/low power control. It does have thermostatic temperature control. I find this more versatile than a high/low setting. You can control the maximum temperature that the pot will reach. For delicate foods that you don't want to overheat, preheat the pot to your desired temperature before adding the food.
