It will only fully charge four AAA’s at a time (double stacking like they show in directions never gives any batteries a full charge i have found with this cheap quality model) and it will take 4 hrs for four at a time so 8 hrs for eight batteries! Get a better charger as this one has been down graded in quality since previous wonderful model !
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because the charger can charge two or four "AAA" cells at a time, to charge eight cells requires two charges, one for four and another for the second four. Charge time depends on cell capacity, but their booklet states two to three hours for "AAA" cells, depending on capacity (500 to 800 milliampere-hours). Just how long a charge lasts depends on the cells, not on the charger.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The AAAs for me take about 3 hours to charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1-2 hours tops
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The charger takes about 6 hours to charge a 8 volt battery, but longer for 8 AAA batteries
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine charge in e or 5 hours at most.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.4 hours and the charge last as long as a new battery
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That depends on the battery not the charger as it's putting out a constant amount of power to the battery, but on average this charger does it in 3-6 hours depending on the battery size. If you have a battery that's rated at a higher milliampere-hour (mAh on battery labels) it'll take longer, but that also means the battery has more capacity. Also for the charge lasting it also depends on mAh rating since that tells you how much capacity the battery has. You will want low self discharge Ni-MH batteries if you are putting them into something you need to last though since they perform closer to Alkaline batteries and don't loose charge as fast when idle. Sometimes you'll see them marketed as "pre-charged".
