• According to the service manual here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06001789 this model would support a second larger drive, however you would need the ribbon cable to connect the sata drive, which is not included.

• Yes, there is a full bay inside the computer, but no cable or holding brackets. I've cracked mine open (see pic) because I want to add another SSD and another 8GB of ram.
