“I want to know what I can really expect from this battery. I know the description says 12 hours, but I doubt that is realistic. I want to hear from people who are actually actively using the device as to how long I can expect the battery to last.”

Thank you for reaching out. The 12 hour battery life is a standardized test that results from mixed usage. Things like playing games or watching videos use a lot more battery life than typing a Word document. I would expect closer to 7 hours of average mixed use.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was told By HP helpline that it will last less than five hours. I browse, I keep some windows open and don't play games. I have music playing through blue tooth speaker. Keep in mind, this is a 3 cell battery and not a 4 cell.

I use for my business, emails, checking my business camera on my laptop and it works great for good 12-15 hours without charging. Been using it for 1.5 years now, no issues and love it. planning to buy 1 more soon.
