Battery life and charge cycles rely on a multitude of different variables and factors. Unfortunately at this time this cannot be easily calculated. Keeping the laptop plugged in is not detrimental to the laptop or to the battery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most modern computer batteries can go through about 1,000 (complete) cycles before showing any significant performance loss. Never or rarely cycling the battery will indeed reduce its capacity over time -- so might as well use it.
