A:Answer I would suggest a docking station and just plug everything (monitor, keyboard, and mouse) into the docking station. This also allows you to use the laptop screen as another monitor and then when you want to take it with you, you can just undock the laptop and not have to hook and unhook everything every time. That is the purpose of a laptop...to be mobile. If looking to permanently use it only at the desk, then perhaps a desktop unit is a better option as it is usually more powerful, cheaper, and easier to maintain and upgrade.
