During set up for my initial purchase, the speakers worked. The next day they didn't. I followed all of the troubleshooting recommended to no avail. Since I bought 3 year coverage, I spent an hour on the phone with tech support. They said to take it back to the store. The Geek Squad tech did a few years and have me a replacement. As long as you save the box that came with the computer, you may have a chance for replacement. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought this laptop (early July) and it just started making that static clicking noise. It is really annoying. I called HP support. They did all the updates but the noise will not go away. It stops sometimes but it comes back. HP now says it might be a hardware issue. They are sending me a box to ship it to be fixed. The only issue with that is that it will leave me without a computer for who knows how long. I am strongly thinking of returning it and getting something different.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just got mine 3 months ago and yes the speakers are absolute trash on this very expensive laptop
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had that issue and it was because I had external speakers attached
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Open your HP Support Assistant and do all the recommended updates and check for any audio updates as well (they may be optional). That might do the trick. Although I have not had a similar issue I would try this first.
