I have not tried actual card stock yet. I have used double sided glossy paper that is heavier than regular paper but not as heavy as card stock. I have used Epson for many years, never have I had a printer that was a stickler for wanting the settings on my computer to match the settings on the printer. I have always used the paper settings on my computer and the printer would set to that. Not this one, You have to actually set it on the printer as well. But does give you the option to 'continue printing'. I don't think there is an option for card stock. So when I do get around to printing on card stock. I will probably choose a photo paper setting and see what happens. This printer has in the settings where you can check how many pages have been printed and the option to reset the counter, which I will definitely use. My last eco printer was still printing really good, but about the 3rd notice, it gave the notice of ' has reached the end of service life' and it died on the spot. Really upset me, because it was printing fine, the last page was perfect. In researching the issue, I found an article that said to reset the counter. Well, it was to the point of only turning on and off, nothing else. I had moved and did not bring the install disk with me, which that might have worked, I don't know. But this new printer has in the setting the option to check the counter and to reset it. Even tho I paid more for this printer than the last one, it is smaller and actually feels sort of cheaply made, but it prints great. Even has a quiet mode setting. I don't have any complaints about this printer, but I am a big fan of epson. Love the tanks. I used to blow thru cartridges like a whirl wind, which is very costly. With the last one, I bought ink I know once, but maybe twice in 2.5 yrs. I still have ink left. The first one, refilling the ink tanks got pretty messy, but this new one, the bottles are designed to eliminate the spills. I just did a test print on card stock. For settings I used letter size, plain white (printer) bright white in printer settings on computer). It printed just fine. No feed struggles or dragging. It did a great job. Hope this helps you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased this ecotank printer from a different store, and have enjoyed it for printing for quite a while. It saves a great deal of money on ink. At first it printed on cardstock fairly well, but only managing about five to six prints before banding would occur and basic cleaning would need to be done. Now it is not printing on cardstock at all, and I cannot seem to find an answer anywhere as to why or how to fix this issue. I have tried every option in the paper settings and all to no avail.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have printed on 65 LB invitation stock by setting the paper type to Presentation Matte.
