Simple Irksome Printer w/ 2 Nice Perks
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works when it wants to. I appreciate the ability to print remotely- that was a major perk for me. I like the flatbed and how fast it can be when printing off a copy - sometimes it's quick but sometimes it’s not when printing from a computer or phone. (I will say I have the worst Wi-Fi connection and cell reception EVER where I live.) The print quality is the same in terms of irritating- sometimes I get a decent print out, but other times it's streaky or overly inky. I do like that the ink doesn't run out super fast like a few printers I've had in the past - I've had it 3.5 months shy of 2 yrs now and I have not had to refill it yet and they give you extra ink in the box. I print a lot weekly too btw. I've toyed with different papers and settings and did the maintenance/calibration tests on it but I still have not found the right print quality in the time I've had it. It does have extensive tests to get it right, but all my changes obviously didn't matter cuz although I fine tuned it as best as I could I still am not ok with the barely passable results and I'm here giving a 3 star review. I got this inkjet for printing stickers - don't buy this for printing stickers. I ended up using this for printing emails, screenshots, and documents that don't need to look super professional- things I expect to get thrown away. If you want high quality this isn't it, but if you just simply want mediocre prints on basic paper without having to put out money constantly on ink you might just be ok with this.

Nice affordable printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The cost of the printer was reasonable. Online ordering and curbside pickup. It was easy to set up. The pages printed look sharp. With the limited pages printed, hardly any ink used. Looks like the ink will last a while, minimizing ink costs.

Epson eco printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it! I've printed so much for finals and ink level did not drop as I had expected. Just wish I had gotten the one that prints on both sides so I would save on paper. A tip for you buyers to take into consideration.

So far, so good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've only had it for about a month now, but it is definitely better than its two predecessors in the household. I'm loving the ink tank idea. It seems to be very reasonable in its ink usage so far. The quality of the print is excellent. This was well worth the money. It's only drawback so far...that tiny screen! You think it looks small in the images you see on here, but you don't truly get it until you see it in front of you and are going through the setup process. It's laughable. I added a picture with a guitar pick as reference. Other than that, I really like it.

Good printer, skimps on previous model abilities
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this eco tank ET-2720 because, I was looking forward to leaving the cartridges behind. Well, it does print very well and the ink tank vs cartridge seems to be very good for now. They skimp on some functionality though. Unlike the epson artisan 725 or expression xp-620 models, you cannot print borderless photos beyond a 4x6. Anything larger does not even give you a borderless option. Even if you go into the options and try to create a custom 5x7 or 8x10, it will have the white border. Other than this, it's a good little work horse. I have noticed some color deviation when printing from a mobile device. Not sure if that's because it's a less detailed version of the original file, but I'm still playing around with that.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very pleased with this printer. Have been an Epson printer owner for about 25 years now and I say this is the best yet. Easy set up, excellent quality prints and love the ink volume. I would recommend to anyone that asks.

Overall A Good Product for Home Office
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall it's a good product. I like the clean design but, I do not like is the backload paper tray. It did not show in their advertising images. A little misleading. They really should've designed something to hide paper tray, to make it a clean look. I saw someone said the display screen is too small. I think everything showing there is very clear, bigger screen is better, but not a must. The thing I like is the feature to update latest firmware itself. We also did a lot study about Eco tank. Seems it is a good idea, not to buy very expensive inks, and print quality is good enough.

Business owner
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prints awesome pictures for my Tshirts, and it uses less ink then any other printer that I have used before. Great printer I would recommend this to anyone who has a home business or for school. Or for anyone who wants a good printer that works for your MONEY AND SAVE

Q: QuestionHow does the echo tank differ from ink jet?
Asked by Riggo.
- A:Answer The difference is the ink delivery system. The ink jet uses cartridges. With the eco tank, the ink comes in bottles, with a special nozzle that fits the top of the reservoir on the printer. You just fit it on and it stops automatically when the reservoir is filled. The ink level is visible on the front of the ink reservoir, so you know how much ink you have. Each bottle costs around $14, so a full set of 4 bottles is around $56, and you get around 4500 copies, or roughly 80 times the number you get with cartridges.

Q: Questionusing epson ET-2720 Do I have to use different ink to do sublimation?
Asked by saddie.
- A:Answer Yes. The ink that comes with it is inkjet ink that is made for printing on paper. For sublimation you would need sublimation ink, a special type of ink that reacts to heat and imprints into the material.

Q: QuestionThere may be times when I don’t use the printer for weeks to months at a time because I travel. Will lack of use cause the eco tanks to dry up or clog?
Asked by Juliette.
- A:Answer According to the salesperson at Staples, it will clog... his answer was to print one or two pages at least 1 to 2X's a month to prevent this from happening. Apparently, this will happen even with ink cartridges; it certainly happened to me. Of course you can print from the following: Easily print from iPad®, iPhone®, Android™ tablets and smartphones5; includes Wi-Fi Direct®7

Q: QuestionIs this printer for sublimation printing for t-shirts and more
Asked by Suzy.
- A:Answer That's what I'm using it for. Just never fill it with the ink it comes with. Instead use your dye sub ink.
