Hello duplex. The ET-5170 can only do Automatic 2-Sided printing. Unfortunately, the ET-5170 does not include Automatic 2-Sided scanning. We recommend looking at ET-5880 as the printer includes Automatic 2-Sided print, copy, scan, and fax functionality.
