I agree that it is a little annoying that app support for prime and Netflix is missing, I’m not sure why this is the case. I think Netflix has to certify devices before they can run the app. Hopefully Epson will update this in a future firmware update.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is not a complete answer - more of a partial one. I have a TV that is powered by Android TV - it's available on them. On the EF12 unit when I tried to install it said something about being incompatible with the version of operating system, so I'm hoping an update will make things right !
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Loomis1975, Streaming support depends on certification by streaming companies. They choose where the apps can play. Currently all the apps certified to run on Android TV for Epson Projectors are available on your Epson projector. If there are streaming services or apps that you cannot access, we recommend you use a third party streaming media player like Apple®, Roku®, Nvidia®, or Amazon®. When new services are certified they will be added via automatic Android TV system updates. Regards, The Epson Team.
