Q: QuestionAny reason why the Wi Fi connection under Settings refuses to scan available networks? I have had this item for 15months and suddenly does not want to connect to my Wi-Fi. Frustrating!

Q: QuestionDoes it need to be in Dark room ? can we use outdoor like in patio/Backyard/Garage ?

• A:Answer Hi KLM, The EpiqVision Ultra LS300 does not have to be used in a totally dark room, but it is designed for indoor lighting. Q: QuestionWe've only had our projector a little over 12 months and the last 4 months have been unusable, has anyone encountered the projector overheating constantly even after a couple minutes or do you know if Best Buy honors manufacturers warranty in-store?

Q: QuestionMy projector has been stuck on the home screen with "update in progress" showing. It doesn't ever update. I've left it on for hours. Also now the remote does not work. I have changed batteries. When you put the batteries in the red light blinks twice.

Q: QuestionCan you project original films from a laptop as opposed to streaming a channel or something? Or could we just stream films from our Vimeo channel? Looking to use this behind a performing group on a concert stage. Would projection be large enough? thanks!

• A:Answer I haven’t tried it yet with a laptop connected via hdmi between the two. The owner’s manual indicates that the unit will connect to external sources as well as stream using the chrome app. I suggest you go to the Epson site and review the online owners manual. The projection size is based on how far or close the unit is to a screen or wall.

Q: QuestionQues regarding HDMI input. Rather than using my Roku device alone, with TV I use a SGEYR 5-port HDMI switch that I plug all my peripherals into. I don't see why this setup wouldn't work for the projector's HDMI port, but would like confirmation. Thnx.

• A:Answer You either have a wake timer set or one of the hdmi connectors is passing the “on” signal to the projector via CEC. Try switching hdmi input ports or disable the feature.

Q: QuestionCan I use the Amazon Fire TV Stick with this projector?

• A:Answer Yes but they locked the CEC so you cant control the volume or trun off the projector. Also the remote is bluetooth so no IR codes can be sent from the fire stick to power if off. I wish I never purchased this. The android TV build provided causes a lot of app freezes.
