“I have a Acer laptop and just perched this printer I had a printer before that was wireless and also wired but laptop does not have a CD ram can it still work with the wireless connection or the USB”

Yes. Just download the install info from Epson and follow the set up prompts on the printer screen.

You can download the software from the internet to hook it up. Worked great on my Mac, but had some difficulties getting my work laptop connected because of the firewall.

In my experience yes you can as long as your able to download the drivers on USB device or external hard drive and send it to your acer laptop through the USB port but also make sure that you down load the correct files because many different version out there. And good luck to you
