• Hi Rose, Yes, the Expression Home XP-4100 can be used as a stand-alone copier. You can use the front-panel controls to change settings, including the number of copies, color or black and white, and reduce/enlarge from 25% to 400%. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.

• Yes, and you can also print from your smart phone as long as both the printer and your phone are connected to the same WiFi network.
