You can do whatever you want with your photos.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Store pictures any way you please. As someone who did a shoebox one at a time this scanner is incredible. 35 pictures takes a less than a minute. We are storing all the pictures on an external hard drive due to price and ease of taking pictures if we need to evacuate.
