“I have a epson 1060 and a bluetooth sound transmitter. I have plugged the bluetooth into the avg ports on the epson and successfully connected the bluetooth transmitter to my speakers. But, the sound is still coming out of the projector. Please help!”

You should be able to simply reduce the projector sound volume to zero using the remote or the projector menu.
