Hi stanley, As long as there is not a lot of ambient light, the Home Cinema 880 should work outdoors. Avoid excessive dust and humidity. The maximum projected size is 386" diagonal with the projector 34'2" from the screen. The closer the projector is to the screen the brighter the image will appear.
