“Will the Epson Perfection V600, or other versions, handle stereo slides in cardboard mounts as easily as it does regular 35 mm slides? Are there any caveats or limitations?”

My mother had a lot of these types of slides and that is one of the formats the V600 scanner is designed to convert. There is a holder is included for many different types of negatives and I found it to be easy to use...with the exception of the large negatives (2"x2") that the scanner had trouble recognizing as negatives and scanned like a normal photo. If your doing the really small negatives, you'll have to order another holder on Amazon. They were around $10.00 when I looked about a month ago. I'm am a novice user and I found this scanner and the program easy to use.
