Is the top removeable? null

Hi MissBonBon, The lid of the Perfection V600 is not removable. If you open the scanner lid to it's highest position and lift it straight up, the hinges extend to allow you to close the lid over thick documents or books. If you need a scanner with that feature, the Epson Perfection V39 Advanced Flatbed Color Photo Scanner has a removable lid and it is currently available at Bestbuy.com. Inventory levels may vary.
