“Can this scanner be used to process glass plate negatives?”

It will depend on a couple of things, but I don't think it will work well. I didn't have any glass negatives to try, but I took a see-through ruler. I tried scanning it on both B&W Negative and Color Negative. The ruler sort-of worked, however, the machine only scans in the width of a slide. The issue is the top of the inside of the scanner. The glass feature on top is not the same size as the bottom, the maximum size could only be about <3" x <10". Please see the photos. Hope that helps!
