“This scanner has been around for quite awhile. Is Epson planning to continue to produce and support it? It is fantastic for scanning small 3D objects! I've just about worn one out and I'm considering purchasing another one.”

Support? What is that? Seriously, you will not get support from any of these companies these days. I would buy another one Though, because there is not much else out there without breaking the bank.
