Do you have to crop photos after scanning them? null

If you position the image to be scanned at the upper right corner of the glass and choose a scan size to match what you want as an end result and if the piece to be scanned is exactly proportional to the final format you will not have to do any cropping. Also, be sure to select the scan area in the preview mode.

If you do a preview before scanning and select the auto crop feature, then no you don't have to do it manually.

The pre-scan will do the entire photo, you can then crop as you like or do the final scan as is.
