“How old is this model? Has there been an updated / upgraded model released or planning on being released. Some of these reviews are 5-7 years old. I’d hate to buy this product only to have a newer version come out shortly afterwards.”

Hello WhysoSerious. The V850 Photo Scanner has been available since 2014 and continues to be a reliable, well-supported option. While it remains available, there is currently no confirmed timeline for a future upgraded model. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
