Can this scan a passport? null

A passport is too thick to pass through the scanner.

Hello. A passport will probably not work as it might be too thick for the paper feed. A scanner with a flatbed like the Epson V39 II would be better suited for scanning a passport. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
