• As long as your PC and the printer are on the same wifi network, or if it is attached by a chord, yes. I scan things pretty often, and it works very well. I absolutely love this printer.

• Hello Carreen. The WF-3820 can be used over a Wi-Fi connection. You want to ensure that both the printer and device you are printing/scanning from are connected to the same network.
