• Hi Grace, As long as your HP laptop is running from Windows XP to Windows 10, it will work. The WF-3820 is a Printer/Scanner/Copier/FAX device. In order to use the FAX feature you must connect it to a landline phone jack. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
