Hello Toni. Yes, the WF-2930 requires all Ink Cartridges to work. That includes Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. The printer can work with your iPhone. After you set up the printer, you can download the Epson Smart Panel app from the Apple App Store to use WF-2930 with your phone. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
