• yes but if you go to the couple states that they are illegal Spectra will detect them like you detect them. Then you get to watch the trooper step on your 600 dollar radar detector and give u a high dollar ticket. Happened to me. The also have detectors in the scales and will nail you there. There Redline is supposed to be immune to it though.

• They are only illegal to use....so just unplug it and set attach it if you are pulled over

• It will work in any vehicle. I drove from Dallas to Toronto. All I can tell you, this device is really worth it.

• If you have a 12 volt source, it will work. But as you stated, it is illegal to use in a commercial vehicle in the United States.
