only in Va and DC. This one is supposed to filter out new car safety systems the 9500ix didn't. But the new one can find a new caddy better than radar and a lot of the other cars too so its not nearly perfected you still get hits from the warning devices on cars.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is dependent on the state you live in, but when I checked it was legal in all states. And no it does NOT interfere with the police radar, it's just a dectector not a hammer. The biggest difference I've found between my 9500ix and the max is the accuracy and range is far better. Not to mention the live radar warning given to you by other customers is amazing. It will give you the direction and how many feet away the detection is from your vehicle
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes some states radar detectors are not legal. This 9500ix does not do 360 degree detection. The 360 has a better range and also shows you What direction the signal is coming from.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not sure about the ticket part but I can tell you that the max 360 I like better than escort 9500ix. I bought both of them this holiday season. The 9500ix for my jeep and the escort max for my bmw. The escort max seems to pick up less false signals than the 9500ix and it has more options. Does it justify the difference in price it's hard for me too say at this point since the range on the two seems to be very comparable.
