Depending on where you are and how long you will be there. I always disconnect from the power source, remove from the windshield and hide it out of sight.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Their is a power button on the top of the detector. Also, you can the set auto power off timer. When the detector is not moving, it will start the timer and when it completes, the detector wil turn itself off.
