Honestly, I'm replacing an old Solo and it was a marginal improvement in actual every day detection in my case. But I enjoy the added technology.

I brought it back to them and they didn't have the 9500ix in Stock so I got the max 360 and I've been using it for about a month now and I love it. If you have a smartphone you can download the escort app and they sync together and get real time speed traps and red light cameras plus airplane surveillance above. It done in PA, NJ and FL major highways such as turnpikesas far as I know. They mail you a speeding ticket.
