• No. You have the ability to block out any signal received, too. It doesn’t pick up false signals unless you configure it to.

• It has a learning program, plus there are filters for that

• Yes and no. I get false bands when a vehicle is right behind me or in front that has traffic around the vehicle. If in heavy traffic, switch modes to reduce false alerts. During normal use very rarely that I get a false alert in Highway (the most sensitive) mode.

• Not that I have noticed. I read some reports that it would alert of every car with these features, but amazingly enough it has been very accurate. Just used in on a trip to Colorado and all three warnings where troopers.
