• Don't think so. It's a little wire though. Won't be all over dash.

• Yes.... I had my mercedes dealer do it, but anyone with know-how can easily do. I only wish that the unit came with the necessary cord in the box.

• I bought a direct wire cord and a blendmount mirror mount, nice unintrusive set up and pretty easy to do yourself.... Got to think any audio installer would do it....

• Yes it can and they don't charge too much for it either. I was surprised.
