• Absolutely, you can control from the phone. I use either VeSync or Alexa to control the outlets.

• As indicated in "Specifications-->Compatibility", these plugs ONLY work with Android and iOS. DO NOT GET these if you have a phone, tablet, or PC that runs runs apps from a different operating system. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
