Absolutely. I sometimes set mine in the back window watching for people cutting through behind my house.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it could work on a window, but make sure the night vision feature is turned off in the setting. Night camera emits infrared light to capture images in the dark. If infrared is emitted in front of a window, it will be reflected to the camera and distort the image. Just turn off the night vision.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m sure you can install it by a window as long as you have a plug near the window and somewhere to put the camera and it’s indoor. I set mine on the ceiling and it works good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the glare off the window would cause issues with it properly recording movement. At night you would also have to disable night vision as the IR sensors would bounce back and distort the image. The placement guide suggests not having anything within 8 inches on both sides and 10 inches above.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It can. However the camera moves a lot and you will probably run into issues with window glare.
