• Considering the fact that the first online Final Fantasy game came out over​ 15 years ago and still hasn't gone offline even with a very small player base, you can assume this game won't.

• I'm going to say probably not. Luckily a good chunk of this game you could play solo, or just use the Duty Finder to be matched with players. But I would rule out a single player offline version.
