“It shows "2 year Amazon warranty" included, but near the bottom after selecting storage size and color, it says "protect your tablet" with 3 options. If I select "no plan" i still have the 2 year Amazon warranty, correct? Where do I go if it breaks?”

Yes! Contact Amazon support directly. We got it replaced when our toddler threw it in water at no cost!
