“Is the plug in cord for charging the same as for the original Charge?”

• The Charge 2 uses a different charge cable than the Charge HR. Neither is compatible with each other.

• No. Your old charging cord won't work. The new included charger clips across the width of the face on the back side. Much easier to use. Don't throw away the dongle from your old one. One isn't included with the charge 2
