What to do if the band breaks my wrist out? No matter how loose I wear it, it breaks my wrist out. I don't want to quit using it so do you have a solution?

I have an high allergy to nickel and that is probably what is causing the breakout guess just wear it at night on your wrist and loop it in you jeans belt loop in the day?

I have an allergy to plastics but I love this tracker so I just line the inside with latex free first aid tape (it's spongy & waterproof) from any drugstore, and replace it monthly.

Not sure if the band is made of latex or not, but if it is then you likely have a latex allergy. It also recommends to periodically wipe the band with a mild cleansing soap.

I would contact fitbit. The first month I had it, I had the same issue - after that it went away and never came back. I think it had to do with the fact that I never wear anything on my wrist.

Try wrapping the rubber part of the band in cotton gauze, since the band is not the "business end" of the fitness tracker. The separation of the rubber from your skin by the gauze may alleviate the irritation caused by the rubber material. Be sure to change the gauze from time to time because sweat, dirt and oils will build up and contaminate the gauze after prolonged use

Sorry to hear that. Mine doesn't irate my wrist, so I'm not sure what to tell you. Maybe slowly break it in over a period of a few weeks? Taking it off while you sleep to let your wrist 'rest'? Alas it might just be a bad chemical reaction of your skin to the material of the fitbit :(

I don't were it real tight. I move it around and change wrists on a regular basis. No problems if you do that. But everyone is different your skin may be more sensitive, but I have no problems

If you are wearing any lotions or perfumes I would recommend stopping. Leave that small area of your wrist natural and free from any body lotions or etc.

You need to clean it really good and probably more often it's probably due to your sweat under the band.
