Q: Questionavailabilitywhy do you keep advertising this if it is not available? very frustrating.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Actually this item came out for a time being as a presale/test run through Fitbit. Fitbit only released so many to each store that would be carrying them as well as on Fitbits site! I was one who was able to get this item during that time. They, Fitbit, are as of now filling orders and sending them out. You couldn't even order on website until a few days ago. I don't work for Best Buy but...my assumption is now that Fitbit is in full swing to fill orders BestBuy should have within a couple of weeks. I keep checking myself as I would prefer to buy through bestbuy then fitbit.

Q: Questionmax heart recordinghow can you see and download your max heart rate
Asked by JJ.
- A:Answer JJ, Have you fully explored your app? You should be able to select the heart rate and see your chart, then get a weekly, monthly, 3 month etc view. This can be expanded so you see a chart with your highs, lows and all of the middle. If you are looking for just a heart rate monitor, or one to catch almost every beat, read the literature from the company - they tell you to go get a chest strap type. I have had one of those, and all though they are accurate, they can be uncomfortable. The Fitbit is a motivational tracker, not a Heart Rate monitor per se. Good luck with your fitness goals.

Q: QuestionI've been wearing mine for 4-5 weeks. Now I have a see where the strap is anyone else???
Asked by Nann.
- A:Answer Could you please rephrase your question. I have had an HR for several months and I like it a lot. Would not say love because of battery life but I've learned that the more active you are the worse the battery life. I bought two the same day (my wife and me) and mine died way quicker than hers because I am a daily gym goer. However after she started going to the gym with me after a couple of months hers dies just as quickly as mine does.

Q: QuestionWill it work if you ocasonily If you carry in your pocket
Asked by Bon.
- A:Answer Bon it will still record steps if you need to occasionally carry it in your pocket. But do keep in mind since it is meant for your wrists it may not record as many steps then being on your waist. But it will get the job done for the most part. I do put mine in my pocket here and there and it shows minimal difference in steps. Of course, the HR function will not work while in your pocket.

Q: Questionhaving a pace maker fitted will it still worki have an icd fitted will it still work annette
Asked by molly.
- A:Answer Hello Molly, I imagine that a Fitbit will work if you have a pacer/icd. From what I understand about its technology, it monitors your heart rate based upon pulsatile blood flow. Whether your heart is being paced or not, theoretically, as long as you have a pulse, it should give a result. Now if you have severe peripheral vascular disease or some type of vascular insufficiency that causes your blood flow to be decreased or some LVADs where blood flow is nonpusatile, then I don't think the product would be helpful. This may be a question for the manufacturer. Hope this was helpful. Good luck!
