• YES, BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO CHAGNE YOUR SETTINGS SO THAT THE HEART RATE IS THE FIRST STAT THAT APPEARS WHEN YOU MOTION YOUR WRIST. IT IS VERY SIMPLE TO CHANGE THE SETTINGS TO SHOW HEART RATE FIRST. I AM ABLE TO CHECK MY HEART RATE OFTEN DURING MY SPIN CLASSES WITH NO PROBLEM, THE STATS POP UP WHEN YOU MOTION YOUR WRIST IN A CERTAIN MANNER.

• Yes, it does but I am not sure how accurate that would be. I don't continually check my heart rate while doing exercises. I check my heart rate after I immediately finish. I also think that it needs a couple of seconds to catch up. I found it to be accurate for the average person doing regular exercises.
