Yes, you will 'earn' calories through exercise during the day. You can link it to different food apps, like MyFitnessPal, and your fitbit will automatically add the calories earned via exercise into your food log. I will warn that the more intense your exercise is, the less accurate the HR seems to be.

Yes. You can log a workout either from your fitbit Charge HR or from the fitbit app and it will tell you where your HR was during our workout and how many calories you burned, how many steps you took during your workout.
And of course you have the same information for your day/month/year as well.

It does estimate calories burned during the workout, and uses the HR to adjust the calculation. It shows minute by minute HR and how many calories burned per minute based on intensity.

Technically yes, but I wouldn't trust the statistic. It is based partially on its heart rate tracking, which is not accurate during workouts. Thus, it messes up calorie burn data as a result.
