- Answer I don't see why not? It is waterproof, and there's nothing that says it has to be used in a certain temperature range.

- Answer Yes you can charge it in a similar manner as the original version. You remove the tracker from the band and place it in the charging cradle.

- Answer Because this watch will go about 3-4 days without requiring charge.. I will say it should work for you regarding time and distance. It will also track heart rate and effort put into your swim routine. I'm not a strong swimmer so I find it interesting to see how many breaks I take.
