“Do you have to synch this watch with your phone or can you use it independently?”

• I have synced mine with the Fitbit app on my phone. As a matter of fact it it is recommended to get the best stats. However, the watch has its on GPS and you should be able to use it without syncing, once you have set it up. I am not sure if you need to sync in order to set it up for the first timr.
