Unplug console from wall to allow complete shut off so console can reset. Then plug it back and try again

Do other physical discs work? if they do, it's probably an issue with the game disc and not the Xbox. I would go back and get a replacement. It should work since I have a physical edition and have been playing it on my One S with no issues. Another potential problem could be storage since the game takes up roughly 100 GB. Make sure you have enough space on your console.
