• Because it still uses the card to verify info on the order such as address, phone number, zip, etc and to process it through payment/order system so it is fulfilled I suppose. As long as it's not a free trial and no subscription fee bills when trial runs out, it wont' show on your card. You shouldn't be billed anything if it says $0.00. Be sure to screenshot that or save it somehow, so later if there is an issue you can prove that is showed $0.00 but asked for a card etc then billed you. I hope this helps. -jtrag (:
