“What's the difference between this one and the one that is $20 less? Any reason I should get a built-in icemaker for a new refrigerator instead of this? New house, water line available but I'm concerned about the icemaker taking up too much room.”

I am not sure what the difference is. I also had an ice maker in my refrigerator but the ice still had a “taste “ . I use distilled water in this machine and there is absolutely no taste to the ice. I have had no problem with it taking up too much space.
