• I'm not sure it can be ordered that way, but you can flip it yourself.

• The instructions say the freezer can open from either side but the bottom of the freezer has to be turned on it’s side and accessed from the bottom to perform this . I preferred the opposite side also but the guys that delivered may not be paid to perform this job. You might want to ask this before purchase . I do love this freezer . So glad l got it. Very pleased with this purchase.
