“When plugged in the alarm went off indicating that the internal temperature was above 21 degrees. The guide also states that the green power light is suppose to blink off and on until the temp. drops below 21 deg. It just stays on. Is this wrong?”

Are you talking about the green light at the bottom? I believe it’s just supposed to stay on. That’s what mine does. Hope this helps

If the temperature inside the cabinet exceeds 21°F (-6°C), the LED light at the bottom of the cabinet will flash and the alarm will sound. The alarm can be reset by opening and then closing the door. The Power On Light indicates the appliance is properly connected to electrical power and glows even when the temperature control is turned to "OFF", which is normal.
