Q: QuestionCan the door be opened from either side? I know others said this door is reversible, does that mean it's one of those doors that I can open from the left or right side? Can the ice maker be taken out so that space could be used as regular freezer space?

The door is fully reversible—meaning during installation, you can choose to hinge it on either the left or right side so it opens toward wherever best fits your layout. Though you might notice the door seal takes some time to “retrain” after switching sides, especially in warm environments. The refrigerator is described as “Ice Maker Ready”, meaning you can install a slim ice maker later on without compromising existing space. If you don’t install the optional ice maker (kit IM1900MD), the freezer remains a plain 3.67 cu ft compartment. You’re free to use the space however you want—there’s no ice maker installed to remove.
